Tissington Hall Wedding - Raab & Ali

Posted on 9th January 2022 by Mark Tierney

What could be better than a beautiful wedding celebration between two people who love each other very much? Two wedding celebrations! Raab and Ali exchanged their vows at Tissington Hall in Derbyshire, on a warm Summer’s day, with the flowers in full colourful bloom. They were cheered on by the venue owners; Sir Robert FitzHerbert and Lady Caroline FitzHerbert.

Once they had become husband and wife, and everyone had enjoyed a glass of Bolly, Raab and Ali, posed with friends and family next to the ornate steps in the lawns for some group shots. A little later, I took some bride and groom portraits in the gardens.

The reception was held in a beautifully decorated marquee, with fairy lights that lit up as the sky darkened dramatically. We took a few more bride and groom portraits after the speeches, and I managed to persuade some family members to climb a tree as well, not that they needed much persuading! The evening was then spent dancing in the romantic glow of the marquee.

Wedding ceremony number two took place at Raab and Ali’s own pub, The Blind Bull. This 12th-century inn in the Peak District had been closed for 15 years until the couple bought, and renovated it. It’s a beautiful country pub, which served as the perfect rustic backdrop when the newlyweds pulled up in their vintage Triumph. It was a day for family, friends, love, laughter, and lots of dogs! A great time was had by all. I’d like to wish Raab and Ali all the very best in their life together.
