Castle Howard
Castle Howard is a renowned stately home in Yorkshire. Huge in scale and set in gorgeous surrounds, this is the sort of historic grand venue that makes creating the perfect wedding album seem easy. With its long gallery, which sleeps up to 200 guests, and its popular outside pavilion, which can host ceremonies up to 60 guests, Castle Howard offers brides and grooms a lot of benefits.
The grounds are spectacular. A statue-lined walkway beside the large lake makes for a stunning backdrop whatever the weather and flower-filled hills provide a romantic setting for some great couple shots. If you choose to have your wedding at Castle Howard, you will have exclusive use of the venue. It’s also worth pointing out that the pavilion is really beautiful and even if you don’t have your ceremony in this part of the venue, there will still be ample opportunities to have photos taken here, in amongst the columns.
Please have a look at my Castle Howard gallery to get an insight into the sorts of photographs that can be taken here and give you an idea of how a wedding day spent here could look. The wedding co-ordinators who are based in-house here will be on hand to help you with every aspect of your wedding planning at this venue, but if you’d like to find out more about wedding photography, you’ll need to approach wedding photographers directly.
I have shot quite a few weddings here and know all the best angles from which to take great photos of your big day. If you’d like to meet up and have a chat about your requirements, please get in touch. I can be reached via phone or email and there’s no obligation to go ahead, if we arrange to meet up and have an informal discussion. I’ll simply give you the benefit of my experience of shooting weddings at Castle Howard.
