Stacey & Graham’s Wedding - Wentworth Church & Rockingham Arms, Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Posted on 1st June 2010 by Mark Tierney

We are pleased to share with you the following images taken at on Stacey and Graham’s wedding day in Wentworth near Rotherham. Their ceremony took place at Wentworth Church followed by the Rockingham Arms for the wedding breakfast.

Wentworth is a delightful Yorkshire village, surrounded by countryside and I am always excited to photograph in such a beautiful setting.

Following the ceremony I had the opportunity to spend some time alone with the happy couple to perform creative shots, firstly within the grounds of Wentworth’s old disused church which boasts some classic English architecture. We then made our way to a nearby oilseed rape field where the yellow flowers were in full bloom and gave a striking contrast against the moody grey sky.

Stacey and Graham were an absolute pleasure to work with; they were both very adventurous and keen to make the most of all the locations I suggested.

In the evening we again ventured outside to a nearby cricket field where they were not at all phased by the unpredictable chilly weather. Here is a selection of my favourite images from Stacey and Graham’s wedding day.
