Louise & Paul’s Urban Engagement Shoot, Victoria Quays, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Posted on 9th September 2010 by Mark Tierney

I love it when a couple likes to venture to unusual places for an engagement shoot. Louise and Paul loved my urban portrait portfolio so we went to Victoria Quays - not far from the city centre in Sheffield.  The canal basin was restored in the 1990’s and is perfect for this type of shoot. The restored warehouses and marina are great backdrops for urban portraiture.

Louise and Paul are holding their wedding ceremony and reception at Aston Hall in Rotherham. Louise and Paul had a scare last week - the company who owns Aston Hall have gone into administration! There was also a fire at the hotel! Luckily their wedding will not be affected and the wedding is still going ahead smile Here are some of my favourites from their pre-wedding shoot.
