Rebecca and Chris's wedding at Kelham Island Museum was nothing short of unforgettable, steeped in history and loaded with character. Right from the start, it was clear this wasn't going to be your typical wedding. Rebecca arrived in style, stepping out of a retro VW van, ready to walk down the aisle with all eyes on her.
The old Crucible Workshop, steeped in Sheffield’s industrial past, set the stage for a raw, atmospheric ceremony. The brick, iron, and echoes of the city's storied history made their vows feel timeless. After the "I do's," the newlyweds strolled along the cobbled Little Mesters Street, lit by fairy lights and lined with guests who sent bubbles dancing through the air. It was a scene straight out of a film, pure magic.
With some relaxed portraits and group photos captured, we moved into the Upper Gallery for the reception. The space, draped in warm festoon and fairy lights by Wild Wedding Days, transformed from an industrial relic into a place buzzing with celebration. PJ Taste delivered an unforgettable wedding breakfast, making sure everyone was fuelled up for the speeches and festivities.
Post-reception, the couple took a quiet moment by the River Don, exploring the blend of Neepsend’s old warehouses and new developments. These moments were genuine, capturing a couple ready to walk through life together, with Chris twirling Rebecca into a playful first dance on Ball Street Bridge—a nod to Sheffield's industrial backbone and the river that powered it all.
As the evening wore on, the laughter and music filled the museum’s halls. The last shots of the night captured Rebecca and Chris under the legendary Bessemer Converter, a towering reminder of the city's proud heritage. Their day was a perfect blend of history, love, and celebration. Congratulations to Rebecca and Chris on a day that was truly one for the books.
