Hodsock Proiry Wedding - Abigail & Jack

Posted on 14th September 2023 by Mark Tierney

Abigail and Jack were married at Nottinghamshire’s Hodsock Priory in a romantic, outdoors ceremony in front of family and friends. This was a stylish affair with weather to match. The sunshine bathed the couple in a golden light from ceremony to sunset.

After the couple exchanged their vows under the gazebo, we took some posed photos of the guests with the newlyweds. Then it was time for a few bride and groom portraits. Abigail, Jack and I walked around the grounds which were green and leafy with gorgeous hidden pathways through the trees.

Back in the reception room, everyone ate the wedding breakfast and laughed at some very entertaining speeches. I took a few more reportage shots outside as guests enjoyed the last of the daylight, as well as more photographs of Jack and Abigail together as the sun went down.

The day ended with a spectacular dancing finale, at least on the part of Abigail, who set the stage with her first dance of the night. This was with Jack, of course. Then, she then danced with her dad, and then her grandad. It was fabulous and moving at the same time. Three generations of dancers. All the very best to the happy couple in their new lives together as husband and wife.
