Derbyshire Life and Rotherham News article about my two competition wins

Posted on 24th November 2009 by Mark Tierney

After my recent Friends of the Peak District & CPRE South Yorkshire photographic competition wins, both of the images have once again been in the local press . My ‘Trash the Dress’ image, Curbar Bride was in the Derbyshire Life’s November edition which is a popular lifestyle magazine. An article was also written in The Rotherham News about my other competition win – ‘Severance’ which was taken in a wheat field in Slade Hooton, Rotherham. So far I have had articles about my awards in The Sheffield Telegraph, Sheffield Star, Rotherham Advertiser, Rotherham News, Derbyshire Life, Derbyshire Times and The Peakland Guardian. As a result of all this publicity, I have seen a big increase in traffic to my website and blog, and have secured both Wedding photography bookings and also landscape photography sales. This has been a real boost to my photography business and hopefully 2010 will be another successful year!
