These images were taken at Baslow Edge and Padley Gorge in the Peak District. I hoped for better light at Baslow Edge but it never happened. I was hoping for some dramatic clouds above the Derwent Valley – another time. I managed to photograph one of the many Highland Cattle wandering around and also one of the photographer – me The sun broke through for about a minute but not where I wanted. So I ventured down to Padley Gorge which is near to the popular Grindleford Station Cafe. On a grey day Padley Gorge is the perfect place for landscape photography. The low light helps with the long exposure effect on the waterfalls.
