Marriages involving precision rifle aficionados are not to be confused with shotgun weddings! And despite the bullet-casing buttonholes sported by the groomsmen, Andy and Cassie’s big day was definitely of the former variety. It celebrated a closeness and love that has grown over time.
The gazebo and outside ceremony areas at Whitley Hall were complimented by sunshine pouring down on a backdrop of autumn leaves, highlighting their red, green, and gold hues. It was heart-warming to see the couple tying the knot during a moving ‘unplugged’ ceremony watched by friends and family.
After they had exchanged their vows, I took some posed photographs of the newlyweds and their guests, before taking them on a short walk around the grounds to get some bride and groom portraits. With peacocks in rustic doorways and dappled sunlight across the lake, we couldn’t have picked a better day for the wedding.
The photo-taking was then followed by a wedding breakfast, some beautiful speeches and the first dance of the evening, outside in the warm air. A perfectly stunning finish to a perfect day. Wishing Cassie and Andy all the best in their married lives together.
Thanks to my mate Chris Thornton who was the 2nd shooter at Cassie & Andy's wedding.
