Sam and Pete’s City Centre Wedding - Sheffield Town Hall

Posted on 28th June 2010 by Mark Tierney

Here is Sam and Pete’s wedding photography from Sheffield city centre. Sam and Pete were married at Sheffield town hall on a beautiful spring day. Following the marriage ceremony, the wedding party made their way to the Peace Gardens next to the Town Hall. It was very busy because of the beautiful warm weather and lots of children were playing in the fountains as you can see in one of the images! After the Peace Gardens we walked the short distance to the impressive Winter Gardens and then to the very modern Q-Park building. I love the mix of the old and new architecture in Sheffield which makes for great backdrops. Finally I took the bride and groom to the Sheffield City Hall which is a neo-classical building. The main pillars of the building are very grand and if you take a photo at the right view point you would think you were in Rome and not Sheffield! Here are a selection of their photos from Sam and Pete’s special day.
