They say you should ‘make hay while the sun shines’ and that was certainly the case at the marriage of Chloe and Tom. Their beautiful wedding day started with a touching ceremony at the village church in Laughton en le Morthen, in Rotherham, and then moved to Tom’s family’s farm for the reception. Great fun was had by all, in bright sunshine, all day long!
We took posed family photos in the village streets, on the lawns, and then used the farm hay bales as a backdrop for our initial bride and groom portraits. A wedding breakfast followed, which was held in a working barn, complete with yet more hay bales! There were also some very moving speeches.
And then, after leading the way on the inflatable space hopper race circuit, and bucking bronco, the newlyweds left their guests to relax, while we went on a glorious countryside walk next to golden fields, in the late afternoon light. Such a romantic setting!
The day was rounded off with a lively disco and lots of dancing. I’m not sure what the nearby animals thought of all the excitement, but the guests certainly had a good time! I’d like to wish a huge congratulations to the happy couple.
