Gem and Steve's wedding at Aston Hall was a visual spectacular. Flanked by a troupe of good-looking wedding attendants on either side, this bride and groom held a marriage ceremony that was not only filled with love and affection, but was also seriously good fun.
After a moving exchange of vows, family and friends posed for photos outside with their Pimms. After a drink or two it was time for the newlyweds to walk down an aisle of bubbles provided by their guests! A little later on it became clear to everyone that one of the wedding attendant duties was to take part in the tug of war. It was competitive, a great laugh and lifted
After some moving speeches, I took some photos of the happy couple together outside in the moonlight. It was a fitting end to a romantic day, filled with love and laughter.
As the lights outside faded, so did the lights inside, but I think the party atmosphere really exploded when the girls stormed the stage for their big singing number. Gem and Steve are clearly a couple who know how to have a good time and their bouncy outlook on life is infectious. I'm honoured to be part of their special day and I'd like to wish them all the very best.
