Photographs of my daughter at Roche Abbey near Maltby, Rotherham, South Yorkshire

With it being the Easter holidays I thought I would take my daughter to our local beauty spot, Roche Abbey. She insisted on taking her umbrella even though it wasn’t raining – smile. I couldn’t resist taking the camera and my new toy: the new Pocket Wizards, Flex TT5 & Mini TT1 for off camera flash. For the photographers reading this , I had a play with the hypersync mode and managed to get F4 @ 1/4000, iso 100 which is very impressive. It will only work with my Canon 40d though and not with the Canon 5D MK 1, which is a shame.

This would be a great place to take a Bride and Groom for their wedding photography. Apparently English Heritage only charges £60 for the use of the grounds for wedding photography – which is very reasonable in my opinion.
