I've always known Wortley Hall to be a great wedding venue, but when combined with a carefully chosen decor and a loveable couple, whom you can't help but wish well, the effect is undeniably regal. From the moment the flower girl appeared, leading the bride down the aisle, right up to the last dance in front of the band, it was truly a magical day. All the guests were made to feel special and it was clear to everyone that we were about to witness the matrimony of a couple who bring out the best in one another.
With its roses, chandeliers and majestic ceilings, the setting was very cinematic. In such an impressive place, with such a happy bride and groom, it occurred to me that wouldn't take long before a few tears were shed and I was right. Almost as soon as the bride and groom had glanced at each other with a joyful smile as they exchanged their vows, some of their closest friends and family were reaching for their tissues.
After the ceremony, I managed to persuade Laura and Simon to follow me outside for some couple shots. They posed together in a variety of sunlit fields, full of summer flowers, as well as next to the log shed (so as to capture the rustic charm of the place.) It was a beautiful day and deservedly so for such a beautiful couple. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Laura and Simon again. I'm in no doubt that they face a wonderful future together. All the very best!
