Sheffield Wedding - Lauren & Garth

Posted on 19th February 2023 by Mark Tierney

Lauren and Garth’s very stylish wedding started with Lauren and her attendants getting ready in the gatehouse of Ranmoor Hall. There were no double-booking concerns at this impressive venue, because it’s also the bride’s family home! When they were ready, Lauren’s dad drove them to her marriage ceremony at Underbank Chapel in his vintage Rolls Royce.

The exchange of vows was so touching and nobody really cared about the threat of rain showers as the newlyweds stepped outside, once they’d tied the knot.

There, I took some photos of friends and family posed outside the venue, before going for a walk with Garth and Lauren, to a nearby field, to take some bride and groom portraits, using one of their favourite views as a backdrop.

We then headed back to Ranmoor Hall, where the marquee was waiting in the beautifully manicured lawns to receive the vast wedding party.

The reception was a decadently booze-friendly affair with a gin-tasting menu and single malt whisky favours, but the speeches were moving, the Thai food exquisite and the fun of the dance floor second to none! This was a wedding that was larger than life and full of elegantly memorable moments. I’d like to wish all the very best to the happy couple!
