Urban Portrait Photography in Sheffield - Victoria Quays & Attercliffe

Posted on 1st April 2010 by Mark Tierney

This is Emily and Luke having an urban portrait shoot in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The first location was at the restored Victoria Quays, not far from the Park Square roundabout. Sheffield Canal Basin, now known as Victoria Quays, is at the head of the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal, close to Sheffield City Centre.

It’s a great location for this type of shoot with lots of different backdrops. It’s usually quiet around the canal but there was a wedding fair on at the Hilton Hotel. I couldn’t resist having a wander around to check out the wedding photographers in there. smile

The second location was in the industrial area of Sheffield – Attercliffe. This is where all the steelworks are, what’s left of them!  Thanks Emily and Luke it was a pleasure working with both of you. smile
