Sheffield City Centre Wedding Photography, City Hall - Kerry & Shane

Posted on 23rd September 2009 by Mark Tierney

My wife and I had a great time photographing Kerry and Shane’s Wedding at Sheffield City Hall a couple of weeks ago. Kerry and Shane were a pleasure to work with and what a great venue for a Wedding! It’s the first time I have shot a city centre wedding but luckily the Wedding was on a Sunday so it wasn’t too busy. Working in the centre of Sheffield is slightly different to the Church weddings I shoot especially with a huge big wheel as a backdrop! I would like to say a big thanks to Natalie & Glen for showing us around ‘all’ the venue and even letting us shoot on the stage! Here are some of the images from the day.

Kerry & Shane's wedding has also been featured on one of the UK’s top 10 wedding blogs - The Boho Wedding Blog smile

When asked by a work colleague if I knew af a wedding photographer, I didn’t hesitate to forward Marks name. This fabulous collection of images goes to show not only his creative, artistic and technical abilites with a camera, but also a developing personal style, and re-emphasises my recommendation.

Mark and Nicky did a fantastic job with our photos. They blended in with the crowd for the candid shots and were amazing at making us feel more relaxed for the more formal, posed shots. We love the end results and feel we have some really unique images to treasure! I would highly recommend Mark to anyone, in fact I have already passed his name on to a few future brides!
