Alex and Rich's British wedding party was literally and figuratively thousands of miles away from their official marriage ceremony in Las Vegas. From the dust bowl of Nevada to the lush green fields of Wentworth, Rotherham the two occasions couldn't have had a more different setting, but there was clearly a lot of love involved in both. As Alex clutched her bouquet of wildflowers and posed with Rich for their couple shots, it was obvious they were thrilled to have made their commitment to one another.
The afternoon started with a few photos in the greens and golds of nearby cornfields and under a picturesque rural archway, before making our way to the Rockingham Arms where the party was in full swing. Guests basked in the sunshine under vines and branches while a magician with some pretty sharp tricks moved between the picnic tables astonishing the crowds with his sleight of hand.
I took family photos on the grass while a guitarist played a few tunes and then it was time to take our seats inside, where the rustic pub had been lavishly decorated with bunting and lanterns. There was a cheese wheel, a sweet table and an impressively high balloon arch. The night ended on a musical high note with a DJ and a singer accompanying the newlyweds and their guests as they took to the dancefloor.
Alex and Rich travelled over 5000 miles to start their married journey together and I get the strong feeling that their adventures are far from over. Wishing them all the best, please raise a glass for the happy couple!
