Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photography , West Yorkshire - Natsumi & Pete

Posted on 5th April 2011 by Mark Tierney

Here are the images from Pete and Natsumi’s  wedding at the charming Hazlewood Castle near Leeds & York, on a beautiful spring day.

The ancient Hazlewood Castle was mentioned as long ago as 1086 in the Domesday book and set in seven acres of stunning gardens, is a hidden gem!

Following the marriage ceremony the select wedding party which included some of Natsumi’s closest family members from Japan, celebrated with champagne in the castle courtyard. It was a great relief that her family were not caught up in the recent devastation that has hit her home country!

With the weather on their side the happy couple were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the castle grounds leaving me to capture their harmony.
The wedding breakfast was located amongst an array of stunning oriental flowers and lanterns, and the chocolate wedding cake was quite simply mouth-watering!

Pete and Natsumi were great to work with; I hope you enjoy my favourite images from their unique day.
