Last week my wife and I met up with Kelly from Boho Weddings & Events for a chat at Aston Hall in Rotherham. I like to support people who are very passionate about their job, especially when it comes to weddings. Hiring a wedding planner is getting more and more popular in the UK. I wish we had a wedding planner when Nicky and I were married in 1998, we would have stayed within budget and saved a lot of money!

Boho was born out of a love of all things weddings; we simply love everything to do with them.

Our idea is to create weddings with a difference no matter how big or small that difference may be, showing peoples individuality through their day.Boho’s creative and flexible approach to planning means that our services fit around you. Boho loves a traditional wedding but also loves the nontraditional like humanist ceremonies, civil partnerships and themed weddings - nothing is impossible!

Although I now live in Sheffield I have lived in many parts of the country, so I am more than happy to look at weddings further afield, including: The East Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Cheshire and Ibiza!!

Why use a planner?

You may be thinking to yourself ‘why do I need a wedding planner?’ Well your wedding day is going to be one of, if not, the most important day of your life, so why try and do it all yourself? You hire an expert to do the catering, take the photos, make the cake, so why not hire a professional to help with the planning?

Planning a wedding can become a full time job, an average of 200-250 hours per wedding! That’s a lot of weekends, evenings and lunch hours!! Hiring a wedding planner will free up your time and let you enjoy the planning process instead of it taking over your life.
