Derbyshire Dales & South Yorkshire Landscape Photography - Wild Flowers

Posted on 15th June 2011 by Mark Tierney

Summer is  here and the wedding season has well and truly begun! After 6 weddings in 16  days I felt I needed a break from the processing of around 3500 wedding images and get out into the countryside. I love landscape photography and it's great way to chillout and hopefully capture some great images too! The first location  was near the small Hamlet of Bretton in the Derbyshire Dales. If you like country pubs I recommend The Barrel Inn which is in Bretton and has very nice food and a great view from the top of the hill (the 6th image). The last location was back in South Yorkshire and a beautiful poppy field not too far from where I live. Here are some of my favourite images from the beautiful English countryside smile

Excellent series of shots, particularly the last one.  You know that people will kill to find out where that poppy field is :o)
