It's usually the bride who steals the show, while the bridegroom is content to sit back and admire the woman he is marrying, along with everyone else in the room. However, at Steve and Katie's wedding, both bride and groom were forced to take a back seat. This is because their beautiful daughter was a real show-stealer! Not content with sitting with her family at the ceremony, she decided she needed a ringside seat – on her mum's lap.
Following the very touching ceremony, and their daughter Eliza whole-heartedly embracing the party atmosphere by dipping her hand in her mother's champagne to get a sneaky taste, I took Steve and Katie for a walk at the beautiful Padley Gorge. I wanted to take some photos of the two of them alone together and I have to say, it was one of the most effortless photo shoots ever. So at ease in one another's company were they, that they mirrored one another naturally, helping me create some really special images. This very natural rhythm they have together was again displayed when they took to the dance floor. It's always heart warming to see a couple so well suited.
A couple of wedding features deserve a special mention. Not only did the wedding cupcakes look more delicious than your average wedding cup cakes, but they also had a whole bar of chocolate sticking out of the top! Hats off to the Subbuteo themed speech as well. It was excellently delivered! As for the newlyweds themselves, I'm honoured to be part of their big day. Wishing you all the very best in the future.
