On an intermittently grey day in the Peak District, Anna and Kev's white wedding lit up the Derbyshire countryside in New York-themed style! The day began with a pearl surprise for the bride in a Tiffany bag and ended with a run through the sunlight-dappled woods at Maynard, before hitting the disco. The most important bit though, was obviously the ceremony. On this moving occasion, even the children managed a respectful quiet while the couple held hands and provided the vows that would shape their future together. It was a touching moment in a room filled with love for the couple.
Pims and canapés followed outside. The bride and groom radiated a happy glow as they wandered around talking to their guests. While they were doing that the best man took the opportunity to practise his speech on the balcony overlooking the crowd. The bit of practise obviously did him good as when the time came, his speech was met with a great reception and much whooping!
Towards the end of the day we took some shots outside amongst the trees. The weather had cleared up by then Anna and Kev were able to smile at each other in the sunshine! It was an elegant and memorable wedding, which included some touching and thoughtful details – as well as a truly delicious cake!
