Here is another 2012 wet wedding, and there have been so many this year! The rain didn't dampen the spirits of Louise and Jamie though. The happy couple were married at Norton Church with their wedding reception being held at one of my favourite city venues, the very grand Sheffield City Hall. After the speeches we ventured out into the rain for some creative portraits. I love night photography with a bride and groom capturing the city lights. Sheffield has a nice blend of traditional and modern architecture to use as a backdrop. Here are some of my favourites from a very enjoyable wedding.
Quality work as ever Mark. I’m sure the pair of them will be over the moon with your shots and their album. A fabulous reminder of a great day!!!
Love the idea of the DD bus.
Beautiful photo’s Mark but then seeing your previous work we never had any doubt!! Loved our day and our time with you, especially our trip out into a dark, wet, wintry Sheffield town centre which has produced some fab shots, you’ve managed to capture some very special moments through the day as well which I think is your real speciality, looking through the photos it’s like being there again and I love that, thank you again so much from me and Jamie, we’re so glad we picked you as our wedding photographer and would recommend you in a heartbeat, just feel sad we won’t get to take any more fab photo’s together again, lol, take care and thanks again Mark…
Such a fantastic set of images - love your composition and the ability to capture both motion and emotion in an image. The evening city portraits are brilliant!!
