Rudding Park Wedding, Harrogate, Yorkshire - Siobhan & Richard

Posted on 13th April 2016 by Mark Tierney

Richard and Siobhan's wedding was fresh, original and full of fun. The day included an informal and intimate blessing at Rudding Park in Harrogate, as well as a contrasting church ceremony filled with high drama and ornate beauty. The couple looked just as comfortable in both situations, surrounded as they were by family friends and lots of children.

We took a few photos in and around the grounds of Rudding Park, Richard and Siobhan together in the trees, as well as plenty of the beautifully decorated reception venue, which echoed throughout the day with the sounds of the string quartet. Lace was a big theme and the attention to detail on the tables and wedding cupcakes was exquisite.

After the formality of the big church ceremony early in the day, the evening was strictly reserved for fun. There were some very witty speeches and then an elaborate Mr and Mrs style yes and no game was acted out for everyone's entertainment. The skills required from the bride and groom were drawing, miming and holding shoes are loft. Predictably everyone was in stitches.

Later on the dance floor filled up and we were able to reflect on the day. This was a highly enjoyable wedding with a fantastic couple at the centre of it. I'd like to wish Richard and Siobhan all the very best.
