Chris and Jo's country wedding was a stylishly elegant affair, with glorious views over the autumnal Derbyshire landscape. The ceremony took place at the incredible Ranmoor Church in Sheffield and the bride looked stunning with her delicate, trailing bouquet. After an emotional exchange of vows, there were plenty of hugs on the church steps and a few giggles as Jo tried to fit all the overhanging tulle of her dress into the car.
On the way to the Hassop Hall we stopped off at the picturesque Padley Gorge in Derbyshire, I managed to steal the couple away for a quick hike over the moorland. Luckily Jo was well-prepared with bridal wellies at the ready. Their love of walking in the countryside was reflected in their choice of cake toppers, which depicted a miniature Chris and Jo in their walking clothes.
Back at the reception, a piano player entertained the guests, watched by the bride's father, a piano player himself. The newlyweds walked into their wedding breakfast to huge applause and the meal was followed by some lovely, thoughtful speeches.
I did take a few couple shots inside the venue as well. The lamp lit stairs and lit up exterior made for very romantic backdrops. One great highlight of the day was the first dance. Whether inspired by Strictly Come Dancing, or the result of professional tuition, Chris and Jo certainly had some good moves and it didn't take long for everyone else to follow suit. It was a beautiful, traditional wedding, that was thoroughly enjoyable. I'd like to congratulate the couple once again! To Chris and Jo!
