Last week I managed to venture out into the Peak District in Derbyshire. As you can see it was pretty cold, especially in the lower valleys where it was -5 deg C. The first image overlooking the Hope Valley was taken on 12.12.12 @ 12:12:12pm. There is also a rare image of me admiring the beautiful inversion in the Derwent valley
This is my last blog post before Christmas so Merry Christmas everyone!
Fantastic shots Mark. Particularly like the last self portrait
Particularly love that third shot, the light coming through those trees and down the path is majestic.
Happy Christmas to you too Mark, catch you in the New Year!!!

Awesome!
Oh Mark, these are incredible.
I spent Christmas in Buxton, and was up at Solomon’s temple on Christmas day morning… beautiful views like these but my iPhone didn’t quite do them justice! These are amazing though, and bring it all back. There’s nowhere quite like it, is there.
Claire
Thanks Claire, the conditions were perfect! I have been waiting years to see/capture an inversion
