This is Joanna and Liam’s pre-wedding shoot at various locations in Huddersfield. I always go and visit a venue before a wedding to check out all the different photos opportunities. The first location was at the church where Joanna and Liam are going to be married – the Almondbury All Hallows Church in Huddersfield. The second location was high on Castle Hill overlooking all of Huddersfield and beyond, the Victoria Tower. There were some great views of the surrounding countryside up there. You can even see the tallest freestanding structure in the U.K. up there, the Emley Moor mast which is taller than the Eiffel Tower! The last location was at The Alma Inn in Cotton Stones, Sowerby Bridge where Joanna and Liam’s reception is going to be held. The Alma is a typical Yorkshire country pub with real open fires, exposed stone walls, stone-flagged floors and surrounded by beautiful countryside!
