Denton Hall, Wharfedale, North Yorkshire - Louise & Kevin

Posted on 31st January 2014 by Mark Tierney

Although Louise and Kevin's big day started off with rain threatening to dampen the spirits at North Yorkshire's Denton Hall, the party couldn't have got off to a brighter start. Louise looked absolutely stunning in a mermaid wedding dress, covered from head to toe in vintage lace with antique jewel details. She was accompanied by her mum, in a fabulous hat, who delivered her confidently down the aisle to her bridegroom. Not to be outdone, Kevin also shone effortlessly in a stylish suit of pale grey. The couple looked radiant as they said their vows. The bride held a pastel-coloured rose bouquet, bound intricately with lace and pearls. Her attendants looked on in deep blue gowns, holding their own hydrangea posies. Denton Hall, the venue where both the ceremony and reception were held, is full of elegant touches. Fantastically gothic light fittings sit comfortably next to full blown chandeliers and the effect is glamorous and striking. The wedding tables oozed charm with their copious sprinkling of rose petals and personalised biscuit favours. After the ceremony, the couple took a walk down to the lake to watch the swans and the sunset, as well as snatch a few precious moments alone together. On their return, their venue had been transformed into a bustling dance hall, complete with live band and festivities in full swing. The real wow of the night was reserved for the couple's first dance. The practise had paid off and husband and wife pulled out enough “Strictly” moves to impress their guests. Louise and Kevin make a great pair of dancers and a great husband and wife team. Wishing them all the best!
