Despite my busiest wedding season to date, I recently managed to sneak a couple of days off to go to Northumberland with my family. We stayed in Bamburgh which is located on a beautiful stretch of coastline. Whilst I was there I ventured onto Bamburgh beach for some seascape photography. Bamburgh also has a stunning castle where one day I hope to photograph a wedding
Here are some of my favourite images from my recent Northumbrian break.
Some great shots there Mark, Bamburgh is a great location, i’ll keep my ears open for somebody looking to get married in the castle and recommend you highly!
Oh Yesssh (Churchill style), you beauty. You can’t beat a bit of long exposure. Were you using a Lee big stopper? I went to Cornwall a month ago, right at the end of the Jet Stream’s appearance, and sadly couldn’t get the tripod steady enough for long exposures because of the wind. Was that a Nuclear Sub on the horizon. Nice work, looked like you had fun.
