Vintage Themed Wedding at Sheffield Town Hall, Peace Gardens and The Wick at Both Ends Pub

10th May 2010

This is Sarah and Stuart’s vintage themed wedding at Sheffield town hall with the reception held at The Wick at Both Ends pub. I love photographing city centre weddings especially when the bride, groom and guests are wearing cool outfits. After the wedding ceremony the bar staff from The Wick at Both Ends served drinks in the Peace Gardens and luckily the sun was out! Before we headed off to the pub on West Street I photographed Sarah and Stuart around the Peace Gardens. There is a nice mix of backdrops around this newly developed area, from the very modern high rise architecture to the trees in the peace garden. After the creative photographs around the town hall I walked the short distance to the pub. As you can see from the photos it’s a pub with character and the food looked very nice too! I like how Sarah had decorated the pub with old photos of them both – great idea! Here are a selection of Sarah and Stuart’s wedding photographs.

I love the contrast between the whimsical faded vintage shots (like the bride arriving with her maids) and the bright colours which just pop out at you on the Q Park pix…brill!

Wow - this wedding is awesome. Sorry to leave two comments in one go…but it’s stunning. You really get a sense of sarah and stuart though the images.
