Sheffield City Centre Urban Pre-Wedding Photography - Michelle & Phil

Posted on 4th May 2011 by Mark Tierney

Here are some of my favourite images taken at the pre-wedding shoot of Michelle and Phil in Sheffield city centre. The couple chose an urban
theme for their photo-shoot with a strictly inner-city feel, so we decided upon the Victoria Keys and Park Hill flats as the location.

Park Hill flats built in the 1960’s are the largest listed building complex in Europe. Recent renovations commenced by the company urban
splash, to transform the flats into upmarket apartments, business units and social housing. Luckily for us, renovations are far from complete and
we were able to access the grounds to the complex for some diverse shots.

Michelle is a big fan of the famous artist David Hockney and his unique montages and I attempted to create such scenes just for her.

The Sheffield couple are to be married in July at Fullwood church followed by a celebration at the charming Maynard Hotel in the Peak District. I
look forward to capturing some beautiful scenery with this adventurous couple on their big day.
