Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography, Cheshire, Lucie & Steve

Posted on 3rd February 2016 by Mark Tierney

Nothing says fairytale wedding quite like a gold and white sparkly big day in front of all your loved ones. Lucie and Steve tied the knot in the castle, surrounded by hundreds of candles and a glorious Christmas tree in the Great Hall that they effortlessly managed to fill with love and laughter! The eyes of their families were still being wiped as they all spilled outside to celebrate this blessed union. It was a beautiful and very moving ceremony.

It wasn't the sunniest day of the year, but you can't really tell in the couple shots we took outside, because Lucie and Steve are so focused on one another; it was clear that theirs would be a very happy marriage!

The wedding breakfast and speeches were delicious and entertaining in a room filled with yet more candles and plenty of sparkle. Steve tried not to let his nerves get to him and his toast was very emotional. After another quick jaunt outside to get a few night time photos in the castle grounds, it was time for cake and dancing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with such a special couple and I'd like to wish them all the best!
