Family Holiday in Paphos, Cyprus
15th November 2010
I’ve finally managed to process my holiday photos from last month now the wedding season is calming down. This year we decided to have a break in Paphos which is on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The holiday didn’t go to plan though because my daughter was taken ill on the second day of our holiday. Holly spent two days in hospital on a drip with a nasty gastric flu virus and for a while we thought she had meningitis! The bad luck didn’t stop there, once Holly was out of hospital my wife caught the same virus! So our 10 day holiday turned it to a 5 day break :(
While Nicky & Holly were in hospital I managed some night photography which I love playing around with. Our hotel was in the flight path of Paphos international airport and the long lines of light in some of the shots are the airliners taking off or coming into land. There are also seascapes, light painting images and some family portraits including a rare one of me! Here are some of my favourites from our eventful holiday ![]()

lovely photos!
sorry about the virus.
i got it as well.
I visit Cyprus regulary during my school breaks and miss it dearly. Often, I got on twitter and just type in “Cyprus” to see what peple are tweeting about it and stumbled across your site.
Your photos are breath-taking and make me long for Cyprus even more. Thank you, thank you!
